Passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on the 1st June 2025 at his home in Corringham, Essex.

Devoted husband to Gloria. Dearly loved father to Gary, Alison and Mike. Father-in-law to Rachel, Paul and Karen. Treasured grandfather and great grandfather.

A true family man and proud Welshman, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

With thanks to family, friends and carers who have supported and helped through this difficult time.

Funeral service and cremation to be held on Wednesday 2nd July at 3:30pm at Basildon & District Cemetery & Crematorium, Church Road, Bowers Gifford, Basildon, Essex SS13 2HG

No dress code, but Lance's favourite colour was mint green, so wearing anything of that colour at the funeral in recognition, large or small, would be appreciated.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to St Luke's Hospice and Marie Curie Nurses whose Angels enabled Lance to remain at home until the end. Donation box at the service, or online at: funeral-notices.co.uk

The family would like to welcome all those who knew Lance to join them in a celebration of his life at The Springhouse, Springhouse Road, Corringham, Essex SS17 7QT after the funeral service.
